A walk-off double led MHS Varsity past South Forsyth 4-3 on Thursday. The game was tied at three with MHS Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when Natalie Fedel doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring the winning run.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, MHS Varsity tied things up at three when Victoria O’Keefe doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
MHS offense racked up nine hits in the game and the Lady Eagles defense didn’t commit a single error.
Kiley Perry earned the win for the Lady Eagles. She allowed seven hits and three runs over eight innings, striking out three.
